Weblog for Senegal: Human Challenge of Sustainability - Fall 2008

Blog Number One!

Hello all! We (the students) are having a wonderful time in Senegal! We have been going to the beach, dancing in the rain, and of course learning alot! We have already been to the project village, Guede Chantier (twelve hours by bus!), But had a wonderful time singing songs with our Senegalese friends and taking in the countryside. It was very peaceful in the village and we are already looking forward to going back to the village on October fourth. The end of Ramadan is on Wendsday, so we will have two days off from school to participate in the parties and freasting that will insue!
