We've just launched our first two weblogs, one for the Findhorn semester program, and one for the Auroville semester program. A weblog, or "blog" for short, is a sort of online diary that we can collectively create and share with others. As this is the first time doing this, it is an experiment and we're very excited to see how they develop.

Hello everyone here we are in Sirius and soon onto India. We are testing our weblog. exciting!
My first full day at Sirius Community
My morning began with some very relaxing yoga at 7:30 in the Octogon, a beautiful octogonal meeting room. As the day progressed, we all met and discussed many important topics to prepare us for our semester. They ranged from discussing the meaning of community, to agreeing on values we wanted to abide by (using consensus), to learning how to stay healthy in India. After some free time and a delicious dinner, we are now about to do some community building games/activities.

Greetings from Auroville
Dear Parents, friends and loved ones, I am sending you this message to let you know that your loved ones are all doing well. We arrived safely in Auroville and for the next four days, guided by Auroville staff, they are going around Auroville visiting different projects and potential internships. They are going on bicycles. They are all settled in at the College guest House. The most important thing for you to know is that they are all well and healthy. Within a week, you can expect some pictures being posted of our stay at Fireflies and the first days here in Auroville. For now, lots of greetings and till later.

Also to let you know that you can expect some entries from students in the next few days...Just realize that they are still fully immersed in adapting to their new environment trying to find their way around and learning how to function in this new place. In the next few days, I will invite them to offer their first impressions of this place through the weblog.
